About

The cast of characters:
The role of husband and father is played expertly by Paul Stehlik, who asked me to be on his team more than ten years ago now and who has given me a thousand reasons to be grateful I said yes.
We have three boys- Noah, Sam and Ben. They remind us constantly how precious life is, how much we still have to learn and how ironic it is that children take naps but don’t want to while parents want to but don’t get to.
And then there’s me- Sarah. I love being on this team. I am a writer by nature. Music is my second language. And I am 100% confident that Mexican food is the official food of heaven.

The storyline:
We set out to spend two years making this movie that ended up taking closer to ten,
and discovered that God’s ways are not our ways and His timing is not our timing.
We moved from the suburbs to the inner city,
and discovered that following Christ is worth everything.
We are learning to live more and more with all we are and all we have surrendered to the God who is there and is good,
and we are discovering how satisfying He is.
We knew all these things before.
But in the doing we are knowing them beyond intellectual understanding… He is writing them into our cores.

And we are unspeakably grateful.

“If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself, take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.” Mark 8:34-35
